Project Coordination
The implementation of this website by the Department of Methodologies of Education (University of Minho) emerges as one of the components of a PhD in Education, in the area of Methodologies of the Teaching of Sciences. The decision for the implementation of this project is a result of the awareness of the permanent restructuring of the school curriculum and the co-operation between the Ministries of Education and Health. These factors demonstrate the elevated priority towards sexual education, in the global education of students, namely concerning young people. Besides this, the development and evaluation of strategies and educational programs which have appeared and have been implemented in schools in Portugal, involving adolescents and young adults, have constituted a neglected domain, not only in terms of investigation, but also in practical terms.
