TAP Air Portugal has agreed with Earth Sciences Centre of the University of Minho, in the ambit of the IV International Symposium ProGEO on the Conservation of the Geological Heritage,  to be held in Braga, from the 13^th to the 16^th of September 2005, to offer a discount to the participants who make their flight booking and buy their ticket exclusively through TAP Air Portugal’s website. 

The discounts offered are the following:

• 10% in economy class
• 20% in business class

The code IT5TPCG21 has been given to this event and it must be mentioned when making the booking in order to benefit from the discount:

To make the booking, the participant should follow these steps:

• enter the website www.flytap.com and select the dates and cities of choice
• click on Book Now and make a normal booking
• the event code, as well as the registration/participant number must be inserted in the Special Requests field.

Important Information

The discount applicable to this event is only valid for online bookings made through TAP Air Portugal’s website and with  payment by credit card. The ticket will always be an electronic ticket, except in cases of destinations where the electronic ticket is not possible.

Bookings made previously by travel agencies or at our desks are not eligible for this discount.

The final price shown at the end of the booking is the public fare available and applicable to the selected flights and dates, including taxes. The event discount does not appear on the online booking; it will be applied, only at issuing moment, over the fare available, excluding all taxes related to the voyage. The currency used will always be Euros.

The discount only applies to TAP operated flights. Bookings on code-share flights operated by other airlines are not permitted. Code-share flights are identified on online bookings with the code OP (Example: TP6701  OP).

The discount does not apply to resident fares / student fares  from Madeira / Azores to Continental Portugal.

The discount applies to round trip journeys from any TAP destination.

The booking can be made at any time. The travel dates must be comprehended in the period of 10 days before / 10 days after the event dates.

The discount is also extended to the participants accompanying persons.
